• Email address — provided when you request a free scan, purchase a full report, or sign up for launch notifications.
• Website URL — the URL you submit for compliance scanning.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Scan results — compliance reports generated from your submitted URL, associated with your email address.
• Communications — emails or messages you send to support@cosmedcomply.com.au.

2. How we use your information

• To deliver the compliance scan report you requested.
• To process payment for full scan purchases.
• To send you your report and any follow-up communications related to your scan.
• To send compliance updates, product news, and tips — only if you have opted in to marketing communications.
• To respond to support enquiries and resolve complaints.
• To improve our scanning framework and service quality.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

3. Marketing communications

We will only send you marketing emails if you have explicitly opted in by ticking the marketing consent checkbox on our scan form or sign-up page. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing support@cosmedcomply.com.au.

We do not send unsolicited commercial electronic messages. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

4. How we store and protect your information

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Railway.app, hosted in Southeast Asia). Scan reports are retained to allow us to respond to support enquiries and complaints. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We share your information with the following third parties only to the extent necessary to provide our service:

• Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com)
• Klaviyo — marketing email platform, only for opted-in contacts (klaviyo.com)
• Anthropic — AI analysis of page content (anthropic.com). Page content from your submitted URL is sent to Anthropic's API for compliance analysis.
• Firecrawl — website crawling service (firecrawl.dev). Your submitted URL is crawled to extract page content for analysis.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

6. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
• Make a complaint about how we handle your information.
